Deploy a Custom YOLO Model on the Synaptics Torq NPU

Detecting objects in images or in a camera feed is a very common and useful vision-based use case of edge AI. A few examples include detecting hard hats for worksite safety and vehicles for traffic monitoring. Pretrained object detection models typically do not detect the objects that your application needs. So for a real product, developers need to retrain models. In this post, we walk through a practical workflow for retraining an object detection model and converting it to run on the Torq™ NPU in Astra SL2610-Series processors.
